Educator Community

The conversation doesn't end when the training does.

A private space for Rhode Island educators taking part in the SAFE Initiative: updates and resources from the Brightside team, honest conversation with other schools, and a direct line to our clinicians when you have a question.

What you'll find inside

After a SAFE Initiative workshop, the questions usually start later, in the middle of a hard week. The Educator Community is where those questions can go, so you are not left working them out alone.

Who it's for, and how to join

The community is built for the adults in a school building: teachers, counselors, social workers, administrators, and support staff. Brightside Behavioral Health staff take part alongside you, answering questions and sharing materials.

Creating an account takes about a minute. You will be asked for your name, your role, your school, and an email address, then a short code is sent to that address to confirm it is really you.

Because educators here talk through real classroom moments, this is a moderated community. A member of the Brightside team looks after new requests from partner schools, so you can start reading straight away and join the conversation once you are welcomed in.

A safe place to talk shop

Please describe situations, not identities. Posts are screened for names and contact details and reviewed by our team before they are published, and crisis resources stay on screen throughout. This is a space for professional conversation between adults, never a student record.
